Governance Panel

Michelle Miller served on the Williamson Street Coop board from 1993-2002. She helped negotiate the purchase and design of a new store site with an eye on working conditions and worked to improve member participation in the annual meeting and governance process.

Oren Jakobson is the president of the RA Cook & JI Altenburg Cooperative, is on the board of Rising Sand Organics and the Badger State Winery Coop, and served as board chair for the Stevens Point Area Cooperative during a board and management restructuring. Oren is currently studying law at the University of Wisconsin Madison with emphasis on cooperative law and antitrust.
